Come & Teach in New Zealand!
HEY, YOU ‘BRITS’ HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED TEACHING SOME OF OUR ‘TAMARIKI’ SCHOOL KIDS DOWN HERE IN ‘AOTEAROA’ NEW ZEALAND?
Aotearoa means ‘the land of the long white cloud’ in Maori and the first Polynesian seafarers named it this because when they arrived all they could see was a long white cloud that stretched out forever. Nowadays, you get here by airplane not Waka and we are only a couple of flights away from London or Manchester, so why don’t you come on down?
Oasis Education is a specialist teacher recruitment company based in Auckland, New Zealand. Our staff are going to the in the UK later in the year and we are looking to meet UK Trained Teachers (from NQT's to classroom veterans) who wish to work in our schools here in New Zealand, starting from NOW!

Visas
- Non-NZ citizens or residents require work eligibility to teach in NZ and Oasis staff will offer information on options and pathways to obtaining the appropriate visa to enable you to start teaching in NZ
- Working holiday visas: While the 2 year WHVisa is currently for thirty years and under, from July onwards UK citizens aged 35 years and under will be able to travel to NZ and work casually, for up to three years. This can be an excellent uncomplicated way to have an initial ‘look-see’ at Aotearoa and work in some NZ schools while travelling and seeing the country at the same time.
- Pathways to Residency: The NZ Government has recently re-opened the country’s borders to immigration again and for those teachers in full time ongoing employment, pathways to residency are opening up (especially) for STEM, science, technology, engineering, and maths, teachers
