Our Sterile Service Team prides itself on its work ethic, values and one of the most important roles in the hospital. Without our team the Perioperative Unit could not continue all the wonderful work they do with carrying out surgical procedures to our whanau and communities.

We pride ourselves on our supportive team environment with great friendships and staff who have worked in the team for over 15 years. With a Sterile Service Educator on-site you will be trained and supported to learn the role and grow a career within Sterile Services.
What do we do?
The role involves the reprocessing of reusable instruments and the sterilisation of equipment for Te Whatu Ora, Te Matau a Maui, Hawke's Bay
It is an advantage if you have Sterile Service experience or have worked in healthcare however we will train and support the right person who is willing to learn, develop and grow within our team.
This role does involve nightshifts and some weekend work. We are a 24/7 service so you will work on a rotating roster.
