About the opportunity:

• Otago region based
• 7&7 or 2&2 Day/Night Roster option
• FIFO, DIDO or Residential
• Immediate start
• All training provided
• 12 month+ contract with the potential for ongoing work fronts

About You:

• Previous experience as a Heavdy Diesel Fitter/Mechanic
• Must be able to carry out quality preventive and breakdown maintenance services
• Holds any relevant industry trade qualifications
• First aid, forklift, overhead crane, rigging and slinging,and working at heights certifications are advantageous but not essential
• Must have a strong commitment to working safely, and a proven ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including a drug & alcohol test)
• Current national police clearance (or ability to obtain)

We are happy to train the right people for the role but need to be committed and must have attributes to do well in mining.
