What you will be doing:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Applications and Systems Support Engineer to join our team.
Reporting to the Service Desk Manager you will be working within the service desk team to provide effective, professional, and courteous customer support and service across the enterprise. You will be part of an exciting work environment, enjoy competitive remuneration, and within a supportive team.
You will get to play with the latest technologies Microsoft has to offer, including Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows Servers/workstations. We invest in quality hardware and software solutions to ensure we operate from a reliable, secure and modern platform. Skills in Citrix, Cisco switching, Mitel telephony, VMWare and Veeam will stand you in good stead.
What you will need:
You will be an experienced service desk professional with proven technical proficiency in many, if not all, of the elements within our ICT environment. As a strong, progressive Applications and Systems Support engineer you will have the ability to work collaboratively with the team, providing timely support and prepared to get your hands dirty to ensure the service desk objectives are met efficiently. You will be well organized, innovative, have great people skills and be an effective communicator.
