The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager- ANZ, the role will be based in Mt Wellington, Auckland, and will support a wide range of business functions with employees located across Australia and New Zealand.. As part of our high performing HR function, you will work alongside your stakeholders to support them with strategic advice, coaching, diversity and inclusion, leadership capability, employment relations, talent development, reward, change management and many more initiatives to drive improvements in employee engagement and support our mission of saving and sustaining lives.
Role responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Partner with the Business to support and drive a positive employee experience an organisational culture.
Act as a coach to provide advice and counsel to managers and leaders throughout the business.
Work strategically with senior and line management in aligning people practices with overall business objectives
Initiate and drive HR projects as necessary to support the HR function and Business.
Provide an effective employee relations service, on matters related to disciplinary & grievance ensuring an equitable treatment of employees.
Support the HR Business Partnering team and wider HR team as required, specifically with matters requiring NZ employment expertise
Leading Enterprise Agreement re-negotiations
About You
A great can-do attitude, out of box thinking and a natural passion for working with people will make you the ideal candidate for this role. This role reports offshore so you will need to have a strong HR generalist background and bring with you at least 5 years’ experience working within the context of NZ employment law and be comfortable with balancing working autonomously but also collaboratively with the ANZ HR team.
You will also possess strong process management skills and the ability to influence and negotiate and build strong cross functional relationships through your inclusive and collaborative style. The above competencies coupled several years of HR generalist experience within a multinational company and an HR or related tertiary qualification would be preferred.
Experience within a pharmaceutical/healthcare organisation would be seen as distinctly advantageous but is not a prerequisite.
